Rear axle- rear wheel brake

(b). Install the push rod clevis cotter pin of
brake chamber and lock up the cotter pin.

4. Connect the air pipe to the left front
brake chamber
(a). Connect the air pipe to the left front
brake chamber and screw down the
terminal nuts.
Torque: 32 ～ 42 N•m
Hint:
The steps for the removal of right front brake
chamber are the same with those for the left
side.

5. Adjust the front brake chamber (refer to “chapter 26 service brake-front brake
chamber, adjustment”)
6. Check and adjust the front wheel brake (refer to “chapter 26 service brake-front wheel
brake, adjustment”)
7. Brake system seal tightness test (refer to “chapter 26 service brake-brake system,
on-vehicle inspection”)
