FROM IMAGINATION TO SUCCESSFUL PRODUCT LAUNCH

service journeys to your customer or what is needed to
get your service to the customer.

NB: the trick to a successful business model is to
always shorten the supply chain and reduce the

time. Look at reverse engineering backward and
            forwards.

Look both ways before you cross the road: what goes
into your product or service, which suppliers you use
and how the suppliers or products that make up your
product or service get to you. You can add more value or
add more profit if you can shorten the time or cost of

            those links.
Additionally, mapping out the inputs of the entire

product or service will allow you to be more aware and
            in control of its efficiencies.

Be careful not to confuse the road to market with
analysing the treasure trial. We will look at the road to
            market in later chapters.
