              The less competition there is, the more your chances of
              having a successful product or service.

              Firstly, consider what you think is your target market for
              your launch. Usually at the start of the process people
              always say, “everybody is my targeted customer”. This is
              too wide a lens to focus on and will always have high
              levels of competition.

              Here is a good example of a niche target market. Let's

              use a food product example.
              People  interested  in  accessing  organic  foods  from

              organic  farmers,  via  their  mobiles.  Or,  organic  food
              markets for males and females between the ages of 13
              and 80, based in the Netherlands, delivered to homes
              where  its  dwellers  are  interested  in  sustainability,
              including recycled plastic packaging and pest-free, cost-

              effective organic foods.
              Here is a great example of how to identify your target

              niche market.

              Take  out  the  word  “everybody”  in  the  sentence  of
              everybody is my target market and start by breaking it
              down into a submarket first, using an example of food.
