August 10: Cadets left for 10 days’ camp at Greenbank.
     August 11: Holidays again.
August 13: Visitors’ day at camp. The Principal and Mrs. Cafferky visited, as
well as many parents and friends. All were particularly interested in the
obstacle course demonstration by 10 of our toughest “commandos” and by
         four rather anaemic officers.
August 28: We returned today ready for an important third term of hard work.
August 29: The Crusader group was addressed by a member of the Leighton
         Ford Crusade Team.
August 31: “The worst of faces still is human.”
Photos were taken of those teams which distinguished themselves during the
sporting year: The Cadet Unit, and the Staff.
September 6: “A cloud of dust on the long, white road.”
The annual boys’ cross country was run—Robert McCrae of Cunningham
         arriving home first.
September 25th: The heats of the Q.S.S.S.S.A. Athletics Carnival were held.
September 26: The Q.S.S.S.S.A. finals were held.
     October 6: “God and a soldier all people adore . . .”
The Cadet Passing Out Parade was held.
October 7: The Cadet Barbecue was held to celebrate the end of another
         successful cadet year.
And with final examinations in the not too distant future, we wish
every student, especially those in Senior, Junior
and Scholarship the best of luck.
