                This team, led by Des Thompson, met some very hard competition, and
           although beaten on many occasions, always gave of their best.
                Des Thompson was the leading points scorer with 23 tries and 10
           goals, a total of 89 points. Other points scorers were P. Molyneux. R.
           McRae. B. Mitchell, W. Saunders, G. Paskins, and G. Mahoney.
                Record—Played 15, won 3, lost 12. Points: For 116, against 231.
           7st. 71b. - -
                This team, led by D. Horn, was short of players and had to use the
           reserve 6st. 10lb. players to fill their team. However they managed to field
           a team on all but one occasion.
                R. Buckley and E. Kelk were the leading points scorers with 9 points
           each. Others were D. Horn, A. Beutel, B. Jardine. E. Brown, J. Stahlhut.
                Record—Played 12. won 0, lost 10 drew 2. Points: For 35, against 122.

                This team led by E. Morgan, finished second in the Zone Premiership
           to Morningside which was the only school to defeat them, doing so 4 times in
           5 matches.
                The leading points scorer was E. Morgan with 50 points—14 tries and
           4 goals. Other points scorers were B. Osborne. N. Kohler, J. Maccoll, N.
           Clayton, H. Baker, R. Parker.G;. Woodbine, D. Harris,J. Clements.
                Record—Played 15. won 10. drew 1, lost 4. Points: For 102, against 57.

                This team led by I. Cushway met some very keen competition, but
           although they were beaten. in many matches, the margin of defeat was very
           small.
                John Smith was selected to represent Queensland against New South
           Wales and scored two tries in the Inter-State Games.
                The leading points scorer was J. Smith with 40 points—10 tries, 5 goals.
           Other points scorers were I. Cushway, D. Illingworth. W. Vayro, W. Sturgess
                Record—Played 15, won 4, drew 1. lost 10. Points: For 66. against 104.

                This team, led by G. Vayro, also had a very interesting, if unsuccessful,
           season. In eight of their matches the scores were very close, viz 0-6: 6-3:
           5-6; 3-3: 0-3; :3- 5; 5-6; 3-3.
                The leading points scorer was T. Ingham with 22 points. Other points
           scorers were M. Poulton, M. Cameron, G. Vayro, H. Davis, L. Harris.
                Record—Played, 12, won 3. drew 2, lost 7. Points: For 67. against 63.
