FORM 4A1 - -
                         Form Teacher; Mr. McCormack.
Form Captains: Girl, Bev. Gunderson; boy, C. Ament.
The cream of the School, the top academic class, yet your behaviour,
your School ‘sperret’, your results—surely the worst junior form yet. A
statement known to every class—excluding the commencement.
To begin with, Lee Williams, the class ‘computer’ is not far ahead
of a line of less gifted boys. Alayne Smith, the brightest prospect for a
sensible school teacher in Brisbane’s history, is creating fame while the
remainder of the girls, headed by Bev. Gunderson and Lyn Murray, are
    the class’s back room workers.
The sportsman of the year is R. Ricketts who captained the Queens
land nine stone division. Frank Whatley was also a member of the opposing
team. Bruce Fleming. R. Winson, Terry Urwin and Max McDonald among
others, play at ‘footbrawl’ with school renown.
Randall Vines, the School's walking golf club, and Ray Maltby, a
parody on all two-footed animals, are a source of variety. Among the
‘queeries’ from the Gumdale bush are Dennis Davis, a fine athlete, Rodney
Nunn and Robert Wood both of whom play hockey.
Ray Maltby is the B grade cricket captain and a soccer player. C.
Ament is the class representative in the A grade cricket and is also
responsible for keeping up the musical morale among the boys.
In the A grade hockey. R. Nunn, R. Lawler, B. Hambrook and
    C. Ament present the largest contingent from any one class.
Some fine looking cadets, among whom are Kevin McTaggart, Max
McDonald and Richard Lawler use bravery as a wooing weapon.
Well, Junior is drawing closer—have no fears. To study is a must.
