RULES & REGULATIONS OF
               INDIAN SCOUT & GUIDE FELLOWSHIP
      1.  ENROLLMENT
         Any adult, irrespective of religion or sex, who subscribe to the Aims &
      objectives  of  the  Indian  SGF,  may  apply  on  the  prescribed  format  to  the
      concerned secretary of the Fellowship of the local area In which such person
      ordinary resides or works for gains, for enrolment as a member in any of the
      following categories on payment of membership fee.
         Provided that where no such local area organization exists, application
      may  be  submitted  to  the  District  SGF  and  if  there  is  no  District  SGF
      application  may  be  submitted  to  the  State  SGF  and  in  the  absence  of  the
      State SGF to the National Council.
         The  approval  of  the  council,  in  either  case,  shall  be  pre-requisite  for
      enrolment as a member.
         The  membership  shall  commence  from  the  date  when  the  same  is
      approved by the council as the case may be.
         MEMBER:
         a.  Should be adult
         b.  21  years  &  above,  where  Rover/  Ranger  units  of  BS&G  does  not
             exist.
         c.  25 years & above, where Rover/ Ranger units of BS&G exist.
         d.  Youth  volunteers  can  also  join  who  are  above  18  years  &  will  be
             non-registered members.
      2.  CATEGORIES OF MEMBERS
        i.   Patron / Donor / LIFE / NRI MEMBERs - who shall pay a lump sum
             amount as subscription fee as fixed by National Council. (Can change
             from time to time)
        ii.   ORDINARY MEMBER. Can be enrolled only by State / District / Guild
             SGF’s on payment of Individual Registration Fee annually as decided
             by the concerned councils. (Can change from time to time)
       iii.   INSTITUTIONAL MEMBER. Any recognized institution which shall pay
             as  annual  subscription  fee  as  decided  by  National  Council.
             Institutional membership is renewable every year.
      3.  TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP
        i.  On death or registration.
        ii.  On being a defaulter in the payment of subscription fee at State /
             District / Guild levels
