iv. Institutional Members: May be admitted as per rules of the State
SGF as shown below:
Any organization In the State which believes in the Principles of
Scouting and Guiding and agrees to the aims and objectives of the
Indian Fellowship and desires to cooperate with the State SGF can
become an institutional member of the State SGF on payment of
one time entrance fee and annual fee as may be decided by the
State Council. This membership is renewal each year. There will
be representation of one member from an organization with
voting rights in the General Assembly. Such member shall not be
elected to the State Council or Governing Body of the State SGF.
The fee payable by an institution member may be as decided by
the State SGF from time to time. However Indian SGF may provide
guidance in this regard, if required.
The Fee amounts may be amended from time to time by the State
council.
4. Application for membership
Application for membership to the State SGF may be made on
prescribed format along with the prescribed fees to the State Secretary.
Approval of the State Governing Body shall be the pre-requisite for the
enrollment of a member. The membership shall commence from the
date when the same is approved by the State Governing Body.
5. Termination of Membership:
Membership shall stand automatically terminated on any of the
following events happening:
a) On death or resignation.
b) On being a defaulter In the payment of the prescribed
subscription fee consecutively for two years unless request for
extension of time is received before one month of expiry and such
request Is accepted within the expiry or one month.
c) On being expelled from the Fellowship by State Council Governing
Body of the State SGF, where such person was enrolled as a
member provided that a show cause notice had been given by the
State Council/Governing Body, mentioning the grounds for
expulsion. A final appeal lies with the Indian SGF National Council
whose decision shall be final and abiding.
