III. To look after the day to day administration of the Headquarters of ISGF
(if the Secretary is not located in the place where the Headquarters of
SGF is located) and help and to oversee the staff and fulfill their
requirements in discharging their duties including communication with
state Units and others.
lf the Secretary is located in Headquarters to help him and taking decisions.
IV. Responsible to - State President, State Council and Governing Body
V. Work Relation - The members of Council, Governing Body, Railway SGF
units and others.
4. Vice President / Resources
I. Functions - to assist the State SGF to obtain financial resources from
outside agencies.
II. Responsible for - To approach and correspond with external agencies
Including State and Central Governments, well wishers of the Scout
Movement and Donors in order to build a sizeable corpus for enabling
the State SGF to function in a sustained manner.
To take the help of members of the State Council, where needed.
III. Responsible to - State President, State Council and Governing Body
IV. Work Relation - Contact with external agencies willing to help with funds
and members of State council.
5. State Secretary
I. Functions - To be the head of Secretarial Functions concerned with State
SGF.
II. Responsible for - convening meetings of State Council, Governing
Council, Annual General Meeting at appropriate time envisaged by the
Rules of SGF in consultation with the President or Vice President as the
situation warrants and to act as secretary to these bodies
Maintain the minutes of meetings of these bodies of which the Secretary is a
member and circulate the same after getting the same approved by the
Chairman of these meetings.
To coordinate and act in consultation with Vice President Administration
To be responsible for attending to the correspondence received by State SGF
from others as well as to reply to the same in consultation with the
concerned officials of SGF.
