JOB PROFILE OF DISTRICT SGF's
GOVERNING BODY
1. District President
D. Functions to function as the Chief Executive of District SGF and to
promote the image of SGF amongst the public at large. To preside over
the meetings of the GA. District Council, Governing Body and to lead the
Fellowship at district level.
E. Responsible for - for effective functioning of District SGF, to conduct
regular GAs and councils. Appointing all office bearers and renewing
from time to time, for facilitating the office bearers to function and
achieve their targets In accordance with NHQ, also to liaison with NHQ,
State SGF and Guild SGF.
F. Responsible to - General Assembly, District Council and Governing Body
G. Work Relation - All the members of Indian SGF, State SGF and District all
those who are directly or indirectly related to Ind. SGF including the
Guild SGF.
2. Vice President / Coordination & Administration
i. Functions - to assist the President in coordination and planning all the
activities of District SGF.
ii. Responsible for - for effective coordination between District SGF and
agencies identified by GA/Council, like BSG, SGF and others.
iii. Responsible to - District President. District Council and Governing Body
iv. Work Relation - The members of Council, Governing Body,
correspondent members from agencies identified to work with.
3. Vice President/ Resources, Administration & Railway SGF (Railway
SGF will be included only for Railway units)
I. Functions - To be in charge of Administration and to assist the President
to keep effective liaison with Railway SGF, to assist the State.SGF to
obtain financial resources from outside agencies.
II. Responsible for - To interact with various units of Railway SGF and
coordinate, wherever feasible, their activities with other units of Ind.
SGF and to actively participate in their functions and activities. To
approach and correspond with external agencies including State and
Central governments, well wishers of the Scout Movement and Donors
in order to build a sizeable corpus for enabling the State SGF to function
in a sustained manner.
