Vogelhuber, Scheelen - What people really want
Effect on Reserved, serious, friendly
others
The strengths and weaknesses of the observer
He prefers to deal with things rather than people. He is a thinker
and tinkerer who, if he has enough time, develops outstanding
solutions. The observer is mainly interested in the thing and
almost not at all in other people.
He is an expert who likes to solve complicated problems, carry
out investigations or prepare analyses. He immerses himself in
his work with patience and meticulousness and is happy when no
one disturbs him. His work is very demanding and challenging.
He sets high standards for its quality - and also for himself. The
observer has the ability to maintain an overview of the whole and
to provide an overall view. In this way, he enables others to find
orientation and to recognize their contribution to the whole.
The observer has basically no interest in other people - but this
does not apply to his closest family. With other people, he is
impressed by knowledge and intellect. He is not available for
chit-chat and small talk. He is skeptical of anything new. He
needs time to convince himself of its usefulness through
intensive analysis. He is motivated by challenges and the
opportunity to expand his knowledge and to deal intensively with
a problem.
