Community

Give utmost consideration to the impact of our works on neighbours, the public and the wider
  community.

Inform the local neighbours about the works by carrying out letter drops detailing the work and at
what times it will be taking place. Ensure that respect and courtesy is shown to those affected by
  the work.

Noisy works are to be carried out at appropriate times of the day with prior agreement obtained
from the local authority for any noisy works programmed for prolonged periods of times e.g. piling.

Ensure traffic management plans are complied so that all deliveries are timed appropriately to
minimise their impact on neighbours. Minimise the impact of parking and work on the public
highway by sticking to the traffic management plan.

When the project is underway the management, the operatives and the condition of the site will be
representing the Co-op brand. The impression the site and the workforce give the community must
be positive. Foul or abusive language originating from the site or site operatives will not be
  tolerated.

If you receive any complaints, ensure they are logged and reported to the Co-op Project Manager.
Reassure the complainant that you will do everything within your power to resolve the issue and
  seek further assistance if necessary.

If you or site operatives are presented with any violent or aggressive behaviour this should be
  escalated to the police.
