(i) Distribute and file memos, advisories and circulars;
(j) Prepare reports and presentations with statistical data, as assigned;
(k) Schedule in-house and external events;
(l) Serves as receptionist to the office; responds to inquiries in a professional, helpful manner
and directs visitors as appropriate; and
(m) Performs other related duties as assigned.
Coordinates with: HRDMO, Safety and Security Officer, Property Custodian, Facility
Services Supervisor, Technical Support and other services staff.
VI a. The SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
A. School Principal, Senior High School
The Head of the Senior High School particularly in matters concerning instructions.
He/she coordinates the efforts of all the members of the Senior High School and
promotes teaching-learning situation towards the achievement of educational excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities
(a) Makes periodic reviews in collaboration with other academic administrators of the
academic and instructional policies, programs and projects of the senior high school
and recommends to higher authorities the appropriate changes.
(b) Prepares in coordination with the Subject Teachers, the annual supervisory plan for
his/her area.
(c) Recommends to the School Director faculty members who will be recruited and hired,
recalled or terminated.
(d) Upon the recommendation of the Level Coordinators, approves the regular teaching
load of the faculty in the Senior High School.
(e) Upon the recommendation of the Level Coordinators, approves the overload teaching
assignments of the faculty in the Senior High School.
(f) Checks the Curriculum Guide (syllabus) prepared by the faculty in his/her area.
(g) Checks the quarterly examinations prepared by the teachers in his/her area.
(h) Conducts regular classroom observations and conferences with concerned teachers.
(i) Supervises the keeping and maintenance of faculty and students’ data of the senior
high school.
(j) Interprets for teachers, students, parents and other stakeholders the Vision-Mission
Statement of the School and the Immaculadian philosophy of education.
(k) Helps upgrade the academic qualifications and performances of his/her faculty
members.
(l) Encourages active participant and membership of the Subject Teachers in their areas in
professional educational organization.
