Coordinates with: Accounting, Head of the CES, Student Affairs Office,
Activity Coordinator, School Nurse, and other services staff.
VII. The STUDENT DEVELOPMENT AND SERVICES DEPARTMENT
Head of the Student Development and Services
Supervise and coordinate the work of student services departments and staff. Oversee the
administration of the budget for extracurricular activities, student services, and events. Coordinate
times, locations, and logistics for student activities, meetings, and events. The position reports
directly to the School Director and the Executive Vice President.
Duties and Responsibilities
(a) Conduct research relating to instructional services and facilities as deemed necessary.
(b) Collect, interpret, and present data for the continuous evaluation and revision of
academic programs.
(c) Participate in accreditation activities from PACUCOA, PAASCU, and other Accrediting
Associations.
(d) Work with students and faculty to resolve conflicts in the college department.
(e) Assist with the college general education assessment activities including the
coordination of testing and surveys.
(f) Manages the admission and enrolment processes of the Institution.
(g) Coordinates the development and revision of curricular offerings with the heads of the
academic departments to ensure compliance with DepEd and CHED regulations.
(h) Coordinates with the academic department heads on the status of students who have
been admitted on probation.
(i) Participates in forecasting enrolment for each academic unit.
(j) Participates in the preparation of Institutional catalogues, prospectus, and brochures
on the different program offerings for use in enrolment campaigns.
(k) Undertakes information dissemination on the school calendar, requirements for
admission, guidelines for maintaining academic standing, and on other matters
supervised by the Registrar’s office by way of memoranda, circulars, announcements,
and bulletin board postings.
(l) Supervises the preparation and issuance of identification cards of students to evidence
enrolment in the Institution.
(m) Participates in the development of guidelines related to the grant of academic
scholarship to students of the Institution; translates approved scholarship programs
into work action plans; implements and evaluates such program of action.
(n) Supervises activities related to admission, placement, retention, and financial support
to scholarship beneficiaries.
(o) Perform other duties as assigned.
