1)  Implements  the  psychological  testing schedules  for  students based  on programs  agreed
                                 upon  between  the  Director  of  the  Guidance  and  Testing  Center  and  the  academic
                                 administrators.
                             2)  Recommends  the  use  of relevant psychological  and  aptitude  tests  and  assessment  tools;
                                 undertakes the acquisition of the identified instruments and applies for certification for the
                                 administration  of  such  instruments  as  needed;  networks  with  other  testing  centers  and
                                 similar institutions to avail of assessment services not available within the Institutions.
                             3)  Takes  the  lead  in  the  development  and  validation of original diagnostic  instrumentation,
                                 survey designs, and research forms/ tables that may be used for assessment of students
                                 and employees of the Institution.
                             4)  Constructs  local  norms  and expectancy  tables  for  externally  acquired standard  tests  and
                                 conducts related studies emanating from research and test data.
                             5)  Administers, scores, and records results of psychological tests and evaluation instruments
                                 included  in  the  testing  and  research  program  for  students,  employees,  and  admission
                                 applicants.
                             6)  Prepares tests and evaluation profiles, research reports and abstracts for dissemination to
                                 the  guidance  counselors,  academic  administrators,  faculty  members,  parents  of  students
                                 and other relevant users; provides test result data to the guidance counselors for inclusion
                                 in the profile / records of the students.
                             7)  Acts  as  custodian  of  test  materials  and  answer  keys,  ensuring  their  security  and
                                 confidentiality.
                             8)  Assists in the provision of guidance
                             9)  Participates  in  the  conduct  of  research  studies  undertaken  by  the  Guidance  and  Testing
                                 Center.
                             10)  Coordinates  with  the  Registrar’s  office  regarding  entrance  examination  requirements  in
                                 relation to admission procedures; acts as examiner / proctor during admission process for
                                 incoming students.
                             11)  Assists  high  school  graduating  students  on  their  preparation  for  admission  entrance
                                 examinations with tertiary educational institutions.
                             12)  Administers selection tests for applicants for academic and student assistants’ scholarship
                                 programs.
                             13)  Administers pre-employment tests and interprets test results of applicants for employment
                                 in the Institution in coordination with the HRDM Officer.
                                                              Coordinates with:  Dean, Vice Principal, Program Heads, Research,
                                                      Data Protection Officer, Property Custodian, and other services staff

                      ▪   National Service Training Program (NSTP) Coordinator

                         1)  Plan, coordinate, organize, implement, monitor and evaluate CWTS and LTS activities.
                         2)  Coordinate  closely  with  the  School  Personnel  concern  for  smooth  implementation  of  the
                             program.
                         3)  Coordinate with other agencies for possible assistance needed for CWTS and LTS projects.
                         4)  Recommend projects/activities that will enhance CWTS/LTS.
                         5)  Submit  consolidated  CWTS  and  LTS  reports  through  the  Student  Development  and  Services
                             Officer for consolidation, monitoring and evaluation purposes
                         6)  Serve as instructors/lecturers in CWTS/LTS as the need arises.
