2) Oversees the selection and holistic training and development of varsity team members and
assists in the administration of grants and scholarships awarded to them.
3) Undertakes screening and recommends the selection of the school’s coaching staff and
oversees their participation in continuing training and development programs.
4) Arranges for the participation of the school’s varsity teams in external competitions.
5) Evaluates the performance of the coaches and athletes in sports and athletics meets.
6) Supervises the athletic programs, including administrative concerns such as practice schedules,
participation in tournaments, provision of logistical support, etc. being undertaken by the
various coaches.
7) Supervises the assignment of grades to varsity team members in connection with the
substitution of their participation in the teams for attendance in physical education classes.
8) Coordinates the special short-term sports training programs on a tie-up with sports
development institutions.
9) Schedules the use of sport facilities in connection with the physical education classes and other
activities that require their use such as intramurals, dual meets, socials / fellowships, etc.
10) Supervises the maintenance of the gymnasium and sports complex facilities and ensures that
all equipment / fixtures and supplies under his care are maintained in good working condition.
11) Assists in the undertaking of marketing activities to promote the usage of the Institution’s
sports and athletic facilities by external clients to generate additional revenues.
12) Schedules the reservations of sports facilities by external users upon the approval of the
request by the Executive Vice President.
13) Represents the Institution in off-campus athletics meetings.
14) Network with similar institutions, foundations, and professional organizations to establish
collaboration for information exchange, referrals, and joint projects.
15) Performs other duties that may be assigned by the immediate superior.
Coordinates with: Vice-Principals, Level Coordinators,
Activity Coordinator, Registrar, Guidance Counsellor, School Nurse, Campus
Security & Safety Officer, and other services staff
▪ School Ministry Moderator
The School Ministry Moderator support the school administrators in expressing the Christian
ethos of the school and to support the spiritual life of the school community.
Duties and Responsibilities
1) Participates in the development of policies, plans, projects and programs related to
pastoral affairs and school ministry as well as interfaith harmony; coordinates the
implementation of such activities.
2) Recruits volunteers from the student body, faculty, and non-teaching staff to be partners
for spiritual and pastoral affairs activities; organizes and facilitates training programs for the
volunteers to ensure their preparedness for pastoral ministry services.
3) Develops design, content, and materials and select appropriate methodologies for retreats
and recollections specifically custom-tailored for the demographic profile of the
participants; undertakes program managements and facilitation of retreats and
recollections; provides external retreat masters as needed.
4) Coordinates with the academic administrators and faculty members, particularly the
religious studies and values education teachers, to generate maximized participation of
student/pupils in campus ministry activities.
