Troubleshooting
• If the Error indicator is blinking orange, this indicates that the monitor has booted up,
but has also detected a problem. Download the diagnostics as described in Section
6.6.5 and contact Iris Power LP Technical Support for assistance.
• If the Error indicator is blinking green, this indicates that the monitor has booted up,
but one or more of the installed monitoring technologies requires configuration.
Configure all monitoring technologies as described in the appropriate technology-
specific User Manual, and then check to see if the problem still exists.
7.3. GuardII+ Boot
If the front panel Power indicator does not turn solid green, this may indicate that the
monitor is not booting correctly. The next step is to open the front panel and check that the
monitor is booted up.
Figure 7-3 GuardII+ Processor Module Indicators
Each Processor Module indicator turns on at a different part of the boot sequence. After
a successful boot, all the indicators will be solid green except indicator ‘H’, which will be
blinking green.
• If some of the Processor Module indicators are turned on, but they are not the pattern
described above, contact Iris Power LP Technical Support for assistance.
• If the Processor indicators are all turned off, this indicates a problem with the ac power;
go to Section 7.4.
• If the Processor indicators are all behaving correctly, but the front panel indicators are
not, this indicates a problem with the panel connections; go to Section 7.5.
7.4. AC Power
If the Processor Module indicators (Section 7.3) are all turned off, this indicates a problem
with the ac power.
• If no problem is found after checking all the ac power connections, switches and fuses
as described below but the monitor still does not boot up, contact Iris Power LP
Technical Support for assistance.
WARNING:
When troubleshooting the GuardII+ main power, take appropriate cautions
to prevent injury due to the voltage levels that may be present. Turn off
the power switch, and the main breaker for the monitor whenever possible.
