Troubleshooting
7.6. Online/Offline
If all the Processor Module and the front panel Power and Error indicators are behaving
correctly but no data is being collected, check to make sure that the monitor is online.
WARNING:
The monitor MUST be online for normal operation.
If GuardII+ is turned on, but has been offline for more than 24 hours, it will
automatically go online unless a USB drive is inserted. If a USB drive is
inserted, remove it and check to see if normal operation resumes.
Check the Online indicator on the front panel; when the monitor is online the indicator is
green (this is the default state after booting), and when the monitor is offline the indicator is
turned off.

The Online/Offline button inside the GuardII+ can be used to toggle the online/offline state;
when using the button, make sure that the Online indicator changes state.

• If the monitor was offline, put it back online and check to see if the main problem still
exists. Note that if the monitor is offline, all communications will still work but no data
will be collected.
• If the monitor does not respond when using the online/offline button, contact Iris Power
LP Technical Support for assistance.
