4. Phony Prophets
Flee from these false prophets. Heed not the clamor-
ing voices from government and business. Believe not
their promises or their projections. Trust not in econo-
mists and experts who spew forth messages they hope
will become self-fulfilling. There is not one single living
man or woman on earth, other than God's messengers,
who can reveal what is coming and how to prepare. Not
one! Only those who walk with God have any knowl-
edge of the future events. God never touches the earth
with judgment until He reveals to His prophets and ser-
vants what He plans to do. It is the glory of God to
reveal these to His own through His Word.

Let these false prophets tell their dreams and let
my true messengers faithfully proclaim my every
word. There is a difference between chaff and
wheat!

5. The Handwriting on the Wail
As it was in the days of Daniel, so shall it be in the
last days. God determined to judge the drunken King
Belshazzar, his corrupt government, and all heads of
state who mocked religion. Drinking alcohol from the
holy temple goblets, they toasted the god of materialism
and success. Those glib, positive-thinking professionals
had no knowledge at all that enemy armies were already
massing outside their borders. Suddenly, God's hand
appears and writes a message on the plaster of the wall.
No one in that nation—no one in that government, no
court-pampered priest—could read the message. It was
all bewildering. King Belshazzar called, in all the famous
