devotion at my advanced age of 68 years (and 38 years
with the company). We were able to exchange some
good “roasts” and I still have a partial videotape of the
event – until my stepson’s battery ran down in his
recorder.
MODERN TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, INC. (MTSI)
MTSI was established by two retired Air Force Colonels,
Tom M and Phil S. They were brought into the Phantom
Works as consultants to support operations analysis folk.
They also provided services to S/CSA in support of R&D
planning. They had been supporting our organization for
a few years, and we considered them to be highly capable
in their field of expertise, along with a proven track
record of unassailable ethics.
When I finally decided to hang up my spikes at MDA, I
made contact with MTSI to see if they might have an
interest in using me on a part-time basis.
