               C.2.8 Hazards Identification and Management

               Hazards identification and risk assessment and approaches or tools used and
               mechanisms for monitoring and closure of the action items should be
               described

               RSAJ has established Hazard Identification and Risk Management process to record
               the  process  for identifying, assessing and controlling potentially unsafe  acts  or
               conditions by identifying the hazards inherent in the activities and determining the
               risks associated with those hazards as per Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment
               and Risk Control (HIRARC) Procedure (SAJ-HSE-P-01).

               A recorded risk assessment process provides the Company a  permanent record
               showing that all the risk has been controlled to an acceptable level which is “As Low
               As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP). Furthermore, the risk assessment process is
               typically used in setting goals,  optimizing operations, strategies  for maintaining
               management, emergency procedures and development of OSH and training plans.
