• Based on the need, employees are given training on the safe handling of
chemicals;
• Based on the need, employees are given a briefing on emergency response and
preparedness; and
• Promotional OSH posters, campaigns, and other initiatives are organized to
reinforce OSH awareness from time to time.
C.2.13.2 OSH Consultation and Employee Involvement
The Company OSH consultative mechanisms include:
• OSH meetings;
• Workplace inspections;
• Incident investigations;
• OSH meetings;
• Risk assessment workshops;
• Workplace orientation and induction; and
• Training programmes and emergency exercises.
The Company employees are empowered to contribute to enhancing the OSH and
business efficiency by involving in job planning, safety meetings, performance
monitoring, incident investigations, inspections, audits, and reviews.
C.2.14 Performance Monitoring and Measurement
Safety performance monitoring and measurement (e.g. safety leading and
lagging KPIs, process safety metrics)
The OSH performance is being measured and recorded for continuous improvement
as part of the Company OSH Management System (OSHMS). Performances metrics
that are being implemented in the Company are leading and lagging indicators.
C.2.14.1 Performance Monitoring
The performance of the company OSH and its compliance with the applicable
regulations and policies are monitored at an appropriate interval. The outcomes of
this process are reviewed, reported and where applicable, recommendations will be
provided.
Regular monitoring of workplace, work processes and procedures are carried out to
ensure their continued suitability and efficacy by identifying hazards and
shortcomings that contribute to the implementation of improvement actions. The
