• Rtn. Santosh raised the topic of the TRUST Corpus and informed that the Present trustees donated
Rs.11000/- each towards the Club corpus fund in the past and the same should continue every Tenure by
BOT, to which PP Rtn. Milind Ballal confirmed the same and in fact proposed that it should be raised to
Rs.21000/-. Rtn. Santosh Bade seconded this.
Rtn. Milind Ballal specifically mentioned that our club is as old as the RC Thane Hills and our Club Trust should
also reach the heights of RC Thane Hills. Rtn. Santosh agreed and seconded the same.
• Rtn. Dr. Sanyam Gadkari asked the members to look into the clause of the 10% retention by the trust
for any funds routed thru the Trust as we are losing opportunity to route CSR funds thru the trust. To which
Rtn Santosh mentioned that there is no such clause in the Trust Deed. Trustees present in the meeting also
agreed for this.
• Finally Club Secretary Rajendra Thakor in summing up all the opinions and observations of all the
members was of the opinion and raised the point as to
Why we should say that we have very less funds to manage? or our Trust is very small so we should continue
with the same old format, instead we should dream big and as the club is becoming strong day by day and we
are getting CER funds as well we are executing Global Grants we should look forward to increase the strength
of our Trust and insisted for the 7+2 format and to balance between the Past Presidents and Senior Rotarians
suggested to have 5 Past Presidents & 2 interested ‘Non- PP Rotarians’ in the BOT.
This suggestion was unanimously agreed by all, However Rtn. Harmeet Gulati correctly mentioned that in the
present immediate elections / selections, we cannot take such interested Rotarians (non PPs) since we will
have to make the necessary changes / amendments in the Trust Deed and the approval for the same will have
to be taken in the Club Assembly. So presently we go ahead with the selection / Election of 5 Past presidents
and later on add up 2 interested ‘non-PP’ Rotarians if approved in Assembly and duly corrected in Trust Deed
by concerned authorities.
To which all agreed and decided that simultaneously we keep all such changes proposed in present TRUST
st
DEED in remaining months by discussing in Club assemblies and same can be processed immediately after 01
July, when new BOT takes over.
The meeting was concluded with a VOT by the Club Secretory.
Thanking you
