Describe the situation or event related to the individual's or team's performance.
o Promoted collaboration among enterprise groups that would request information
as well as those that would provide information through engagement of
representative personnel from those groups to contribute to identification of tool
requirements as well as testing of the tool and related training materials.
o Identified activities needed to maximize successful development and roll out of
the system to the enterprise and obtained representation from appropriate internal
areas to support those activities.
Prioritized improving support to and satisfaction of GOJO external customers.
o Engaged stakeholders early and consistently to ensure Portal is appropriate to
meet needs and expectations of GOJO internal customers (users).
o Broadened scope of initial project to identify and comprehensively address root
cause of the issue, considering perspectives and needs of all stakeholders.
(Initiative started due to high volume of incorrectly routed requests to R&D and
Regulatory groups.)
o Focused on how to better facilitate inter-enterprise communication in relation to
technical customer inquiries / requests.
o Engaged in regular team meetings and used email, workspace documents, etc. to
share questions, concerns, and updates throughout the project, ensuring all
stakeholders perspectives were heard/addressed and that expectations of
personnel were clear.
o Identified required steps and activities early on to ensure engagement of relevant
personnel at the right times and coordinate timing of activities.
o Reached out to stakeholders early for buy-in and to assess resource availability /
timing.
o Developed timeline based on resource availability as well as task complexity and
interactions.
o Monitored progress against timeline and adjusted as needed.
o Anticipated possible need for additional work based on pilot feedback and built
that into the timeline.
o Captured feedback and ideas for additional functionality to be addressed in
version 2, and discussed possible timing / resource availability for that phase of the
project in 2018.
