       help partners in taking care of their newborn baby and willing to take household chores to
       help their partners, all are willing to give their child the best education and are aware of their
       responsibilities.
              Based from the findings and conclusions drawn, the following are the recommendations:
       a regular seminar for future parents should be organized at local health centers so as to update
       and educate them on family planning, establish parent counseling centers in every municipality,
       obtain continuous education in pregnancy, newborn care, newlywed couples, live-in partners
       should be forced to attend seminars on said topics, similar studies should be conducted on lived
       experiences of teenage father particularly their deeper experiences in a wider perspective.


                 HEALTH CARE PROGRAM FOR HEMODIALYSIS PATIENTS

              The study discovered the needs and concerns of hemodialysis patients and nurses in
       terms of physical, emotional, social, spiritual and economic aspects, seriousness of the problems
       encountered by the staff nurses in providing care to hemodialysis patients and the problems and
       the level of seriousness encountered by the patients in the nursing care provided by the staff
       nurses. The study considered as well the attributes of the staff nurses in terms of age, sex, civil
       status, highest educational attainment, years of services in dialysis department and their training
       relative to hemodialysis. It also showed the profile of hemodialysis patients in terms of age, sex,
       civil status, religion, highest educational attainment, monthly family income, number of years
       kidney disease has been diagnosed, year dialysis started and frequency of dialysis treatment per
       week.
              The  study  was  conducted  in  Hemotek  Hemotek  Urdaneta,  Urdaneta  Sacred  Heart
       Hospital and Luzon Medical Center form September-October 2013. Thirty (30) staff nurse and
       thirty (30) hemodialysis patients served as the respondents form who the data were gathered.
              The descriptive type of research was employed using the questionnaire as the main
       data  gathering  tool.  Statistical  treatment  like  frequency,  percentage,  weighted  mean,  and
       Pearson product-Moment Coefficient of Correlation were utilized in treating the data gathered.
              The findings of the study revealed that most of hemodialysis patients are 51 years old
       and above, majority are males who are married, commonly cathlolic, mostly college graduate
       with monthly family income below 10,000 and 11,000-20,000. Most of them suffer from kidney
       disease for 2-4 years and they have their treatment twice a week.
              There’s a moderately serious problem encountered by hemodialsysis patients along
       with  physical  aspect,  slightly  serious  problem  encountered  along  with  emotional,  social  and
       mental aspect; serious problems in spiritual and economic aspect.
              As encountered by hemodialysis patients there were no problems to the care rendered
       by the hemodialysis staff nurses. The key to a positive and good working environment is through
       a good communication and services rendered between health care provider and patients.
