have similar practices. In terms of sterilization and disinfection practices, preponderance of the
respondents said they always practice sterilization and disinfection and all respondent across all
three hospitals have similar practices. For the practice of use of aseptic technique, most of the
respondents said they always observe aseptic technique and all respondents across all three
hospitals have similar practices.
In terms of waste management, majority of respondents are often following the proper
waste management in their hospitals and all respondents from different hospitals have varying
practices.
ESTABLISHING AN ALTERNATIVE EMPLOYMENT FOR REGISTERED NURSES

This study aimed to establish an Alternative Employment for Registered Nurses in
selected towns in Eastern Pangasinan. Specifically, this study sought to determine the initial
organizational and management procedure that could be used in establishing an alternative
employment for Registered Nurses in the areas of organization structure and membership,
constitution and by-laws, insurance and benefits, registration of cooperative administration
commission, mayor’s business permit, registration to Securities and Exchange Commission,
governance of the organization, marketing and price of services, contracts, scheduling of
services, problems encountered, decisions to resolve problems.
The following are the findings of the study: the formulation of the Nursing Service
Inc., Organization warrants an alternative route towards alleviating the file of unemployed and
underemployed registered nurses. In terms of legality, the formulated organization is valid for
the reason that it will be registered on Securities and Exchange Commission and Cooperative
Development Authority.
Since most registered nurses with employment issues are obviously being exploited
and financially being abused, that is why Nursing Service Inc, provides job safety and security
to each member. The organization’s viability is plausible because rapid increase in the number
of population means higher quantity of people that requires critical care, monitoring, treatment,
preventive measures, and diagnosis.
Based on the findings of the study, the following are the conclusions: with the positive
results of this study, as borne by the analysis, unemployed and underemployed is resolved
on the part of those who are member of the organization, income for everyday living and
uplift of self-esteem and self-worth is provided. The establishment of Nursing Service Inc as an
alternative employment for registered nurses in Eastern Pangasinan is plausible and feasible.
The organization could provide decent career opportunities for unemployed and underemployed
nurses.
In the light of the findings and conclusions, the following are the recommendations:
it is highly recommended that unemployed and underemployed nurses join the organization so
