             be re-visit the communication and education plan of the program. Likewise, the deficiencies in
             supplies and manpower may be remedied by networking with sympathetic local and national
             government and non-government entities.
             4. For future researches who wish to embark on further inquiries on the same subject matter,
             an investigation into the compliance of the beneficiaries in terms of the education aspect of the
             Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program is highly recommended involving a larger population for
             validation and clarification of the results of this research.
             5. The proposed measures are highly recommended to be implemented by the Local Government
             Unit of Villasis Pangasinan.


                        DELIVERY OF HEALTH AND NUTRITION SERVICES TO
                                     PUBLIC SCHOOL CHILDREN

                    This study determined the delivery of health and nutrition services for public school
             children in the District of San Manuel, Pangasinan Division II S.Y 2013 - 2014. Specifically, it
             sought to determine the profile of the elementary schools of San Manuel District in terms of
             school health personnel, number of pupils dewormed and the number of classes provided with
             health services.
                    Further  it  looked  into  the  level  of  attainment  of  the  objectives  of  the  health  and
             nutrition services of the DepEd, the extent of the delivery of the health and nutrition services as
             assessed by the teachers and parents along health and nutrition appraisal, health and nutrition
             counseling, prevention and control of communicable diseases, safety, first aid, emergency care,
             and correction of remedial defects and promotion of the health and nutrition of school population
             and the significant difference between the perception of the teachers and parents on the extent
             to which health and nutrition services are delivered.
                    The descriptive method of research was employed and the questionnaire checklist was
             used in gathering data. The frequency counts, percentages, weighted average mean and t-test
             were the statistical tools used in the analysis of data. The findings of indicate that there were
             twenty three (23) public elementary schools with a total of 6,195 pupils in San Manuel District
             that were provided with health and nutrition services by 5 teacher nurse, 1 school nurse, 1
             dentist, 1 dental-aid and 1 medical officer. It was also found out that there were 5,955 pupils
             who were dewormed and 210 number of classes were provided with health lectures, likewise,
             the objectives of the health and nutrition services of the DepED had been attained and the
             delivery of health and nutrition services was satisfactory. Moreover, there were no significant
             differences between the perception of teachers and parents on the extent to which the health
             and nutrition services are delivered along health and nutrition appraisal, health and nutrition
             counseling, prevention and control of communicable diseases, safety, first aid, emergency care
             and correction of remedial defects, case of exceptional children and promotion of health and
