OK I’ve slated TESCOs for my delivery "experience" this
morning so in the interest of fairness and balance, on the
positive side - they’re now selling ready peeled and pitted
Avocados, frozen so you just have to take them outta the
freezer as n when needed. Is this a new thing or am I just
really slow on the uptake (as my teachers used to say!)
Does this mean, no more stabbing myself in the palm so
often, when trying to remove the stone, that people think
I’ve got Stigmata?! No more holding the unpeeled fruit in
my hand whilst straining my psychic ability to guess
whether it’s at the exact level of ripeness required of an
Avocado that only seems to exist as a mysterious, 30
second window of edible opportunity so elusive that on
the rare occasion I do open one when its passed the
inedible rock hard stage but not yet reached the rotten
black mush stage I couldn’t BE more thrilled if I’d
opened the winning box on a scratch card! Ooh what an
exciting, thrill filled life I really do lead! Thank God you
get to read every detail of it via my Facebook feed! You
            lucky, lucky people!

I’m watching an elaborate dramatization of an Agatha
            Christie Novel. I haven’t got a clue who-done-it but I
CAN tell you, that stunning Art Deco Coffee Set they’re
drinking from is Limoges by Merlin Lemmas and the
leading lady’s silk crepe-de-chine number is Schiaparelli
            and definitely to die for!
