Misrepresentation
You may not impersonate any person, government agency, insurance company, or business. This includes TABLE OF CONTENTS
making any statement or exhibiting behavior that could cause the customer to believe that you represent a
collection agency, credit bureau, or attorney. Additionally, you may not use any printed material resembling
a court summons, warrant, or check payable to the customer.
If you are on the phone with a customer, you must identify yourself by using your personal name and the
company’s true name. The use of aliases or code names is strictly forbidden.
This goes for any type of deception in any form. Do not indicate to a customer that a prize will be awarded INTRODUCTION TO ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT / FORBIDDEN ACTS
or lost items are being returned. In addition, you cannot represent that you will give something of value in
return for information about a customer.
Any violations of the
misrepresentation
policy could result in
criminal charges against
you and civil actions
against you and the
company.
It’s just not worth the risk!
