Chapter 6 Frame and Carriage Assembly

Connecting the Boom

CAUTION

The boom is to knuckle towards the exit of the bay. If this configuration
encounters obstructions, call the factory IMMEDIATELY.
1) Locate the short Kondor® boom arm which looks like the image below. Mount this to the carriage boom mount located on
the same side of the carriage as the equipment room using the supplied 7/16 x 1’’ fasteners with lock and flat washers.

2) Locate the long Kondor® boom arm which looks like the image below. Mount this to the wall boom mount clamp using the
supplied 7/16 x 1’’ fasteners with lock and flat washers.

3) Locate the supplied 3/4’’ x 23-1/4’’ hydraulic hose and connect the two boom arms together. Be sure to tighten the hose
so no twist is present in the line.

4) When this is complete, locate the 8 supplied pipe clamps that have tie wraps attached to them and mount them onto the
boom arms as shown below.

Center the Instal 1 clamp 2”
third clamp from each end

5 clamps on this tube

Install 1 clamp 4-1/2”
from each end

Distribute 3 clamps evenly in the middle
