Installation

Connecting the Motor and Slip Ring to the Drive Shaft

1) Locate the Motor/Gearbox Cover with Mount Plate and the Motor/Gearbox. Secure the Motor
Cover to the Torque Plate on the Motor/Gearbox as shown below.

2) Retrieve the Drive Key, Flat Washers and Cotter Pins from the Accessory Box.

3) Apply Anti-Seize™ to the Shaft, Key and Key Slot. Insert the Key into the slot in the Drive Shaft.

Drive Shaft Slot.

4) Slide the Motor/Gearbox and Cover Assembly over the Drive Shaft and Torque Studs, shown
below.

Step 4 & 5:
Slide the Motor and
Cover Asy over the
Drive Shaft & Torque
Studs. Secure with
Flat Washers and
Cotter Pins.

5) Secure the Motor Assembly to the Torque Studs using the Flat Washers and Cotter Pins, as
shown above.
