Installation

Impeller Overview
Impellers are the “fan-like” devices that move air at high velocity in order to dry vehicles.

There are numerous impellers available and impeller rotation direction is critical. For this reasons, we
suggest you fully understand this section of the manual in order to get the most from your purchase.
Impeller rotation is dictated and verified from the MOTOR SIDE of the housing and rotation MUST
match diagram in order to move airflow toward the nozzle opening as shown below.

All impellers have color coded centers to assist in selecting the correct one.
• Red: counter clockwise
• Blue: clockwise
They also have a “Rotation” sticker posted on them. The rotation sticker must be viewed from the cone
side of the blower housing. This shows the direction of rotation from the opposite side thus the arrow
contradicts the posted rotation direction (i.e. a clockwise impeller will have a rotation sticker pointing
counter clockwise from the cone side).
