               lovely; bahu—with many; geha—gazebos; vediù—and concealed places.
            South of Kåñëa's residence and the kitchen is a secluded garden,
            where there is a pleasant lake and many hidden courtyards and
            cottages.

                            yat-parçvayoù santi puräëi godhuhäm
                              bhüréëi cärüëi samäny alaà tayä
                               paçcät tu nandéçvara eva räjate
                            nandéçvaro 'yaà satataà sa vandate


               yat—of which; parçvayoù—on the two shoulders; santi—are; puräëi—
               residences; goduham—of the cowherd men; bhüréni—many; cärüni—
               lovely; samäni—alike; alam—greatly; taya—by that; paçcat—behind;
               tu—indeed; nandéçvaraù—Nandéçvara Hill; eva—certainly; räjate—is
               manifested; nandéçvarah—Lord Siva; ayam—to that; satatam—constantly;
               sah-he; vandate—offers respectful obeisances.
            The cowherds' many beautiful homes rest on two sides and
            Nandéçvara Hill is splendidly manifest behind them. Lord Çiva
            repeatedly offers respectful obeisances to the hill.

                              teñäm api pränta-gatäty-agamyä
                                 pracéra-räjé maëijäta-jätä
                                 ratnälaye ratnaja-dehaléke
                                 muktädi-ratnävali toranäli


                teñäm—of them; api—also; pränta-gata—on the boundary; ati—very;
               agamyä—impassable; pracéra-räjé—walls; manijäta-jätä—made of jewels;
               ratna—of jewels; alaye—the abode; ratnaja—of jewels; dehaléke—at the
               threshold; mukta—with pearls; ädi—beginning; ratna—jewels; avali—
               with many; torana—gates; ali—many.
