pradoña—pradoña; doñäkara—doñäkara; roña—roña; moña—moña; doña—
doña; ädi—beginning with; çabda—of words; çrutiù—hearing; asti—is;
yatra—where; säyam—evening; çaçäìka—the moon; praëayä—as love;
akhya—known; keli—pastimes; niçä—night; ädikeñu—beginning with;
eva—certainly; kadäcit—sometimes; eva—certainly.
When the vrajaväsés say the word "pradoña" they do not mean
"fault", but rather "evening". When they say "doñäkara" they do not
mean "rascal", but "moon". When they say "roña", they do not mean
"anger", but "love". When they say "moña" they do not mean a cruel
thief, but Kåñëa's playfully stealing the gopés' yogurt. In this way
they never speak anything unpleasant, but everything they say is
pleasing and auspicious.
