FR-18 Frame, Suspension and Tire - Front Suspension

f. Use a copper rod to punch out of the plate spring pin
on the rear end of front plate spring, remove the plate
spring lifting lug assembly and adjustment shims.

g. Disassemble the bent-neck grease nipple of plate
spring pin on the front end of front plate spring.

h. Disassemble the fixing bolts and nuts of plate spring
pin on the front end.
i. Use a copper rod to punch out the left plate spring pin
and remove the adjustment shims.
Caution
Body overturn cylinder is fixed on the front pin of
front plate spring on the right. When removing the
pin, the lower fixing point of body overturn cylinder

should be removed first.

j. Remove the fixing cotter pin of body support cylinder
pin and remove the washer.

k. Push out the left plate spring pin.
Caution

Secure the body support cylinder to the frame after
removing the pin.

Warning

After the body support cylinder pin is removed, the
body overturn mechanism can not be used.
