b. Fracture from the center hole of plate spring.
Reason and method of adjustment

• Insufficient pre-load of u-bolts (replace damaged plate
springs and tighten u-bolts).
• Insufficient pre-load of center bolts (replace damaged
plate springs and tighten center bolts).

c. plate springs break from both ends.
Reason and method of adjustment

• Do not load as specified, overloaded (replace damaged
plate spring, use the vehicle properly).

d. Plate spring fatigue.
Reason and method of adjustment

• Long-term use (replace tired plate springs).

6. Assembly of the front plate spring assembly
a. Use a steel brush to remove dirt and rust on the plate
spring.

b. Apply a suitable amount of graphite grease to both
sides of each plate spring.
