Body - Cab flipping and locking mechanism BW - 21

Change IN
1. Open the front flapping cover and remove the front bumper (see “Chapter BW Body - Inner and
Outer Trims - Front Bumper, Replacement”) DI
2. Disconnect the wiring harness and tubes
a. Disconnect all wiring harness and tubes from the cab and chassis as well as the connection between the EG
steering column and the chassis. (refer to Chapter BW body- cab turnover and locking mechanism– cab,
replacement)

3. Remove the front body suspension
a. Open the flip-over locking mechanism

b. Remove the oil cylinder assembly upper support
connecting bolts and locking nuts, and disconnect the
FR
connection between the cylinder assembly and the upper
support.

c. Lift the cab with the crane or the gantry hanger slightly.

● Make sure there is a sufficient operation space.

● Must lift the cab with a crane or gantry hanger and support it with the tightening rods.

d. Remove the front suspension connecting bolts.

e. Lift the cab assembly.
