EL - 22 Electrical system – electrical components

IN Adjustment

1. Adjusting the illumination range of the front lamp
DI a. Adjust the condign of the vehicle as follows.
● There is no deformation around the front combination
EG lamp.

● Park the vehicle onto a flat ground.
TR ● Tire pressures shall be within the limits (refer to “Chapter
FR Vehicle frame, Suspension and Wheels – Wheels and
Tires – Wheel assembly, on-board check)
AX
● The driver shall take his seat and the vehicle shall be at a

status that may start to travel at any time (with a full fuel
FR
tank).

b. Check illumination range of the front lamp
ST
● Make the surface of the front lamp lens at an appropriate distance to the screen. The screen may be a curtain

or a flat wall.

● Start the engine.

● Switch on the front combination lamp.
BW
Check front lamp illumination range if it complies with what is shown in the figure.

Points A and B are locations of front lamps; H is the height of the front lamp; L1, L2 are distances from

the center of the front lamp to the center of vehicle.

● Adjust the front lamp if the range does not comply with the figure.

c. Rotate the adjusting bolts, to adjust the illumination range

of the front lamp into specified range.
