14. When the tappet falls into the guide slot, it will
usually fall. If the tappet does not fall, gently rock the DI
guide slot, so that the tappet just falls and then remove it

Do not knock or shake the tappet at the end of the guide
slot.

15. Carefully pull the guide slot and tappet out of the
camshaft bore and remove the tappet. Repeat the above EL
steps to disassemble all tappets

16. Overhaul camshaft and tappet

a. Check the cam height, if it does not meet the
requirements, replace the camshaft.
Intake air
Minimum: 47.175mm, Maximum: 47.855mm
Exhaust

Minimum: 45.632mm, Maximum: 46.312mm
