b. Lower the tappet installation tool into the ejector sleeve
hole and into the guide slot through the tappet hole.

c. Carefully pull the metal channel / installation tool to the
front of the engine to send the installation tool into the
camshaft installation hole. Obstacles in the back of the
groove will pull the tool out most of the time.

d. Lubricate tappet with mounting lubricant or equivalent.

e. Insert the installation tool (slotting plug with wire) into
the tappet.
Caution
To remove the installation tool after installing the tappet,
insert the installation tool and pull out the tappet in
several times before installing the tappet.

f. Slide the guide slot into the camshaft hole.
