AX-8 Axles, Transmission Shafts - Transmission Shaft

Drive shaft

Check and repair

1. Dismount the drive shaft

a. Dismount the fixing bolts and nuts connecting the
drive shaft and rear axle
Caution
During dismounting, use several supports to sustain
the drive shaft assembly to prevent falling off and
causing injury

b. Remove the bolts and nuts that connect the
transmission shaft with the middle support flange.
c. Remove the rear transmission shaft.

d. Remove the fixing bolts of the middle support bracket.
Caution

During dismounting, use several supports to sustain
the drive shaft assembly to prevent falling off and
causing injury

e. Remove bolts and nuts that connect the transmission
shaft to the transmission flange.
f. Remove the transmission shaft middle support
assembly.
