2. Check the transmission shaft
a. Check the radial runout of transmission shaft

Caution

Before performing dynamic balance test, measure the
drive shaft runout so as to minimize the measuring EG
tolerance of dynamic balance

b. Check intermediate transmission shaft universal joint
for damage. AX
Caution
Check the intermediate transmission shaft universal FR
joint for obvious damage, if any, replace directly. If the
damage is not obvious, use specific inspection methods. ST

c. Check the sliding of transmission shaft slip yoke for
stuck phenomenon. (See "Chapter AX Axles,

3. Install the drive shaft

a. Install the transmission shaft to the rear flange of the
transmission. Install the connecting bolts and nuts and
fasten them.
Torque: 120~130N•m
Caution

More than one supports can be used to hold the
transmission shaft assembly, to prevent falling off
during installation, causing injury.

b. Install the mid-support bracket of transmission shaft
middle support assembly, install the fixing bolts and
tighten them.
Torque:130~160N•m
