Middle Support IN

Check and repair

1. Remove the transmission shaft assembly (see Chapter AX Axles, T ransmission Shafts - T ransmission
Shaft - Transmission Shaft, Service)

2. Remove the middle support assembly

a. Take off the middle support bracket. TR

b. Fix the transmission shaft to the vise, remove the
fixing nut of flange and remove the gasket.

c. Using a hammer, knock on the flange gently, and pull
the flange out when it is loose.

d. Strike out of the middle support assembly.
Caution

Knock on the rubber ring directly is not allowed,
while a smooth wood pad shall be used.

e. Remove the rubber spacer with straight screwdriver.
