 and afterwards: “I will be magnified,  −ÌzÐñÌcÔbгÌíÐîCÖkþÔìÔêÐî  “Extend your hand over the sea, ó¢ÖiÔí-ñÔ¼ £EÐðÞÖ−-³Óêí'ѬÐò
 I will be sanctified and I will become known, etc. 15  ,’BèÐî−ÌzмÔðBòÐî−ÌzÐLÌcԚгÌíÐî  and the water will come back over the Egyptians, óÌ− flÔþЮÌô-ñÔ¼ ·óÌ−·ÔnÔíe륊LÖ−Ðî

              27. Moshe extended his hand over the sea, ó†ÖiÔí-ñÔ¼B•ðÖ−-³Óêí·ÓLô »¬ÑiÔî .ï×
 and afterwards: “God will be known in Judah.” 16  ,ó−ÌíGÍêíÖðeí−Ìa¼ÔðBò CÖkþÔìÔêÐî

 “God has made Himself known, 17 18  ’í ¼ÔðBò

 [Pharaoh first because] he began sinning.  ,íÖþ−ÑëμÖañ−ÌìгÌí êeí  causing the chariots to be dragged  ,³BþÖþÐèÌò ³BëÖkÐþÓnÔíÐî
 Therefore punishment begin with him. 19  :³eòÖ¼ÐþetÔííÖñ−ÌìгÌíepÓnÌôe  and those who were sitting in them were thrown about  ó−̼ÖòóÓíÖaó−ÌëÐLBiÔíÐî

 They did just that 20  .ïÞÅë-eNÂòÞÇiÇå
 [This is told to us] to relate their praises  ,öÖìÐëÌLð−ÌbÔíÐñ  And made them move heavily. 108  .úËãÅáÀëÄaeäÅâÂäÇðÀéÇå
 that they listened to Moshe and did not say:  eþÐôÖêêGÐîíÓLô ñBšÐñe¼ÐôÖMÓL  [He moved them] with a movement  íÖèÖíÐòÔíÐa
 “How can we move nearer to our pursuers?  ?eò−ÑõÐðBþ ñÓêëÑþ֚гÌòCÔê−Ñí  that was heavy and hard for them—  ;óÓíÖñíÖLÖšÐîíÖðÑëÐ×ê−ÌíÓL
 We must, rather, flee.”  !ÔìBþÐëÌñó−Ì×−ÌþЮeòÖê  in the same measure that they (Egypt) meted out. 109  :eðÐðÖnÓLíÖcÌnÔa
 But instead they said:  eþÐôÖêêÖlÓê  [Egypt acted thus:] “He hardened his heart,  BaÌñ"ðÑaÐ×ÔiÔî,,
 “Our sole [mission] is [to obey]  êÖlÓêó−ÑiÔšÐñ eòÖñö−Ñê  he and his servants;” 110  ,î−ÖðÖëμÔî êeí
 the words of the son of Amram. 21 22  :óÖþÐôÔ¼öÓë−ÑþÐëÌð  here, too, “He treated them hard (harshly).” 111  :"³ŠðÑëÐ×Ìa,, eíÑèÎíÔòÐ−ÔîöêÖk¹Ôê
 [5] The king of Egypt was told. 23  .íÄéÇøÀöÄîCÆìÆîÀìãÇbËiÇå [ä]  Is fighting for them against Egypt.  .íÄ éÞÈøÀöÄîÀaíÆäÈìíÈçÀìÄð
 He sent officials along with them.  ,óÓíÖn̼ìÔñÖLö−ÌþB¬Ðš−Ìê  [óÌ−ÔþЮÌôÐa means:] against the Egyptians.  .ó−ÌiÌþЮÌnÔa
 Once they reached the point of three days [journey],  ó−ÌôÖ−³ÓLñÐLÌñ e¼−ÌbÌíÓLöÖî−Ñ×Ðî  An alternate explanation of óÌ−ÔþЮÌôÐa:  óÌ−ÖþЮÌôÐaþÑìÔêþÖëÖc
 which had been fixed for them to go and to return  ëeLÖñÐîCÑñ−Ññ¼ÔëÖwÓL  —in the land of Egypt  ,óÌ−ÔþЮÌô±ÓþÓêÐa
 and they (the officials) saw  eêÖþÐî  [viz.] that just as these are being struck on the sea,  ,óÖiÔíñÔ¼ó−ÌšBñ elÑêÓLóÑLÐkÓL
 that they were not returning to Egypt,  ,óÌ−ÔþЮÌôÐñö−ÌþÐïBì öÖò−ÑêÓL  so, too, are those left in Egypt being struck. 112  :óÌ−ÖþЮÌôÐëeþÎêÐLÌpÓLóÖ³Bê ó−ÌšBñ CÖk
 they came on the fourth day and told Pharaoh. 24  ,−̼−ÌëÐþÖí óBiÔëíÒ¼ÐþÔõÐñ eð−ÌbÌíÐîeêÖa  [26]  And the water will come back.  .íÄéÇnÇäeáËLÈéÀå [åë]
