 “I will pursue [them], I will overtake [them], è−£ÌOÔê¹Ò'cÐþÓê  and said to one another, “It is a food,” êe flíö¤Öô ·î−ÌìÖê-ñÓêL−¥Ìêe•þÐôêÕ·iÔî
 I will divide the spoils, I will satisfy myself; − flÌLÐõÔòBô¤ÑêÖñÐôÌzñ¢ÖñÖLš¤ÑlÔìÎê  for they did not know [exactly] what [kind] it was. êe¢í-íÔôe£¼ÐðÞÖ−ê'G−§Ìk

 [BôÑêÖñÐôÌz means] my soul will be filled with them.  −ÌLÐõÔòóÓíÑôêÑlÔôгÌz  meaning: “It was as fine as þ−Ìb 34  þ−ÌèÐ×íÖ−ÖíšÔc
 [−ÌLÐõÔò meaning:] My spirit and my desire.  .−ÌòB®Ðþe −Ììeþ  and lay on the ground congealed as ice.  ,±ÓþÖêÖíñÔ¼ìÔþÓšÐkðÖñÐèeô ëÑ×BLÐî
 Do not wonder about a word  íÖë−ÑzñÔ¼íÔôгÌzñÔêÐî  And this is the the explanation of þÒõÐkÔkšÔc  ZþÒõÐkÔkšÔc ,BLeþ−ÑtöÑ×Ðî
 that expresses something expressed by two words,  ,óÌ−ÔzÐLÌa³ÓþÓaÔðÐôÔí  thinly spread yet attached as a frost.  .ð−ÌñÐèÌkþÖaeìÐôe LeñÖš,Ôìe¬ÖL
 [viz.,] BôÑêÖñÐôÌz [expresses the same thing as] óÓíÑôêÖñÐôÌz,  ,óÓíÑôêÖñÐô̳ZBôÑêÖñÐôÌz  šÔð in Old French is tenuis (thin),  ,ïÔ¼ÔñÐa ¾"ëò−¬ šÔc
 for there are many instances of such an expression:  ,íÓfÔí öBLÖlÔaíÑaÐþÔíLÑ−  for it was encrusted with a thin crust on top.  ;íÖñмÔôÐñÌôšÔcðÓñÓb ð−ÌñÐèÔôíÖ−ÖíÓL

 [As Onkelos translates it:] “I will draw.”  ,¹BñÐLÓê
                           that a person has in his tent,  BñÏíÖêÐaL−ÌêÐñLÑiÓL
 It is because he empties (š−ÌþÑô) the sheath  þÔ¼ÔzÔí³Óêš−ÌþÑô êeíÓLóÑLñÔ¼Ðî
                        shall they take an omer per head.  :³ÓñBbÐñeb ñÖ×ÐñþÓôB¼ eìКÌz
