but they found none. ñ :eêÞÖ®Öôê£GÐî Your right hand, Adonoy, is adorned with power— .ÇçÉkÇaéÄøÈcÀàÆð'äEÀðéÞÄîÀé
in order to save Yisrael, ,ñÑêÖþÐNÌ−³Óêñ−ÌvÔíÐñ
28. Adonoy said to Moshe, í¢ÓLô-ñÓêíÒ£ÖîíÐ−þÓôêÒ'iÔî .ì×
while Your other right hand ³−ÌòÑMÔíEÐò−Ìô−Ìî
“How long will you refuse ó flÓzÐòÔê¤Ñô ·íÖò·Öê-ðÔ¼
crushes the enemy. 108 109 .ëÑ−Bê ±Ô¼Ðþ̳
to keep My commandments and My teachings.” :−ÞÖ³ÒþB Þ ³Ðî−£Ô³BЮÌôþÒ 'ôÐLÌñ However, to me it seems [that the second EÐò−ÌôÌ− means] íÓêÐþÌò−ÌñÐî
29. See, because Adonoy gave you the Shabbos, ›³ÖaÔMÔíó¤Ó×Öñö¤Ô³Öò ‡íÒÖîíÐ−-−ÞÌke †êÐþ .¬× that very same right hand crushes the enemy, ,ëÑ−Bê ±Ô¼ÐþÌzdÖôЮԼö−ÌôÖ−dÖ³Bê
therefore He gave you on the sixth day −£ÌMÌMÔíóB'iÔaó§Ó×Öñö'ѳÒòêe¤íöÑk…-ñÔ¼ which is something impossible for a human óÖðÖêÐñþÖLÐõÓê−ÌêÓMíÔô
bread for two days. óÌ−¢ÖôB− óÓì¤Óñ —to do two acts with one hand. .³ÔìÔêðÖ−Ða ³B×êÖñÐô−ÑzÐL ³BNμÔñZ
However, the plain meaning of the verse is: ,êÖþКÌôñÓL B¬eLÐõe
Every man must remain in his place. î− †ÖzÐìÔzL−¤Ìê|e¤ëÐL
“Your right hand, which is adorned with power.” Ô ìÒkÔa³ÓþÓcÐêÓpÔíEÐò−ÌôÐ−

There are many verses that are like it. ,B³ÖôÐèec ³BêÖþКÌôíÖnÔ×Ðî
[26] But the seventh day is Shabbos. 55 .úÈaÇLéÄòéÄáÀMÇä íBiÇáe [åë]
“For behold, Your enemies, Adonoy, ’í E−ÓëÐ−ÒêíÑpÌí−Ìk
[Meaning:] “It is Shabbos; ,êeí ³ÖaÔL
for behold Your enemies shall perish.” 111 .eðÑëêÒ−E−ÓëÐ−ÒêíÑpÌí-−Ìk
there will be no manna on it.” .B Þa-íÓ−ÐíÞÌ−êGöÖnÔí
[or:] “How long shall the wicked ones, Adonoy, ’í ó−̼ÖLÐþ−Ô³Öô-ðÔ¼
This verse comes only to add ³BaÔþÐñêÖlÓê ëe³ÖkÔíêÖëêGÐî
till when will the wicked ones exult?” 112 .eïBñμÔ−ó−̼ÖLÐþ−Ô³Öô-ðÔ¼
Yom Kippur and holidays. 56 :ó−ÌëB¬ ó−ÌôÖ−Ðîó−ÌþetÌkÔí óB−
[or:] “The rivers have raised Adonoy, ’í ³BþÖíÐòeêÐNÖò
[28] How long will you refuse. 57 .íÆzÀðÇàÞÅîäÈðÈà-ãÇò [çë]
the rivers have raised their voice.” 113 .óÖñBš ³BþÖíÐòeêÐNÖò
There is a proverb among common people: ,êeí ¬B−ÐðÓíñÔLÐô
[or:] “Not for our sake, Adonoy, ’í eòÖñêG
“The cabbage is stricken with the weeds.” 58 "êÖaÐþÔk−ÑšÖñêÖ®eí −ÑðÎíÔa,,
not for our sake.” 114 .eòÖñêG
Through the wicked, the righteous are disgraced. 59 :ö−ÌþÑLÐkÔíö−ÌpÔbгÌôó−̼ÖLÐþÖí−ÑðÐ−ñÔ¼
“‘I will respond,’ says Adonoy, ’í-óŠêÐòíÓòͼÓê

‘I will respond to the heavens.’” 115 .óÌ−ÖôÖMÔí-³ÓêíÓòͼÓê
With your own eyes that God Himself BðBëÐ×Ìa’í−ÌkóÓ×−Ñò−ѼÐa
[or:] “I to Adonoy, I will sing.” 116 .íÖþ−ÌLÖê−Ì×ÒòÖê ’íÔñ−Ì×ÒòÖê
warns you regarding the Shabbos, ,³ÖaÔLÔíñÔ¼óÓ×гÓêþ−ÌíÐïÔô [or:] “Had it not been for Adonoy... ’îèî ’í −Ññeñ
for a miracle occurs every Shabbos eve ³ÖaÔLëÓþÓ¼ñÖ×ÐaíÓNμÔò½Ñò−ÑþÎíÓL had it not been for Adonoy, who was with us eòÖñíÖ−ÖíÓ L’í−Ññeñ
when He gives you bread for two days. :óÌ−ÖôB− óÓìÓñóÓ×Öñ³Ñ³Öñ when man rose up against us.” 117 .óÖðÖê eò−ÑñÖ¼ óešÐa
Every man must remain in his place. .åéÈzÀçÇzLéÄàeáÀL [or:] “Awaken! awaken! Devorah, íÖþBëÐc−Ìþe¼ −Ìþe¼
From here the Sages found an allusion ó−ÌôÖ×Îìe×ÐôÖ½öêÖkÌô Awaken! Awaken! sing a song!” 118 .þ−ÌL-−ÌþÐaÔc−Ìþe¼ −Ìþe¼
