I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, öÒ flìÖêþ¤ÓLÎê-³Óê ·−̳ÒpÔìÐî onyx stones, and stones for setting ó−¢ÌêŠlÌnÔí−¤ÑòÐëÔê³£ÑêÐîóÔíÒ flMÔí−¤ÑòÐëÔê³Ñêƒ
and I will be compassionate −£ÌzÐôÔìÞÌþÐî into the ephod and breastplate. :öÓL ÞìÔñÐîðB£õÑêÞÖñ
to whom I will be compassionate.” :óÞÑìÔþÎêþ'ÓLÎê-³Óê 28. And the spices, and the oil for the light, þB–êÖôÐñöÓô¢ÖMÔí-³ÓêÐîóÓNÒ£aÔí-³ÓêÐî .ì×
20. And He said, “You cannot see My Presence, −¢ÖòÖt-³Óê³ÒêÐþÌññ£Ô×e³ ê'GþÓôêÕ–iÔî.× and the anointing oil, í flÖìÐLÌnÔí ·öÓô ¶ÓLÐñe
for no man can see My Presence and live.” :−ÞÖìÖîó£ÖðÖêÞÖí−Ìò'ÔêÐþÌ−-ê ÞG−§Ìk and the incense of aromatic spices. :ó−ÞÌnÔqÔí³ÓþÒ £¬ÐšÌñÐî
21. And Adonoy said, “Behold there is a place with Me, −¢ÌzÌêóB £šÖôí'ÑpÌííflÖîÒíÐ−þÓôêÒ¤iÔî .ê× 29. Every man and woman í †ÖMÌêÐîL−¤Ìê-ñÖk .¬×
whose generous heart inspired them ›óÖ³Òê ‡ óÖaÌñë¤ÔðÖòþ ¶ÓLÎê

The B’nei Yisrael brought a free-will gift to Adonoy. ô :íÞÖBí−ÞÔñí£ÖëÖðÐòñ§ÑêÖþÐNÌ−-−ÞÑòÐë eê−«ÌëÑí
And I will be compassionate— .éÄzÀîÇç ÞÄøÀå
Sh’lishi (Sheini when combined) (ïéøáåçî ïäùë éðù) éùéìù
those times that I will wish to be compassionate. ;óÑìÔþÐñ ±BtÐìÓêÓL³Ñ¼
30. Moshe said to the B’nei Yisrael, ñ flÑêÖþÐNÌ−−¤ÑòÐa-ñÓê ·íÓLô þÓôêÒ¥iÔî.ñ
Up to this point He only promised him that êÖlÓê Bì−̬ÐëÌíêGöêÖkðÔ¼
“at times I will respond, at times I will not respond.” ,íÓòͼÓêêGó−Ìz̼ÐîíÓòͼÓêó−Ìz̼ “See, Adonoy has designated by name, ó¢ÑLÐaí£ÖBíÐ−ê'ÖþÖše§êÐþ
But at that time íÓNμÔô³Ô¼ÐLÌañÖëÎê Betzalel, son of Uri, son of Chur, þe£ì-öÓë−'Ìþeê-öÓañ§ÑêÐñÔ®Ða
[when He actually proclaimed His attributes,] of the tribe of Yehudah. :íÞÖðeíÐ−í'ÑhÔôÐñ
He said to him: Bñ þÔôÖê
31. And He endowed him with Divine spirit, ó−¢ÌíGÍêÔìe¤þB£³Òêê'ÑlÔôÐ−Ôî .êñ
“Behold, I establish a covenant,” 67 ³−ÌþÐa³ÑþBk −Ì×ÒòÖêíÑpÌí
with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge ³Ô¼£ÔðÐëe í'ÖòeëгÌaí§ÖôÐ×ÖìÐa
thus promising him [that once the Attributes are invoked] Bì−̬ÐëÌíZ
they will never return unanswered (lit. empty). 68 :óÖš−Ñþ ³BþÐïBì öÖò−ÑêÓL

Even when I cause all My goodness to pass before you, ,E−ÓòÖtñÔ¼−Ìëe¬ ñÖkþ−ÌëμÔêÓLÐk¹Ôê
I shall not permit you ³eLÐþEÐñöѳBò −Ìò−Ñê
we will supply.” .B³Bê ö−Ìô−ÌñÐLÔôeòÖê

Once the public supplied all that was needed, ,ñÒkÔí³Óê þeaÌ® eô−ÌñÐLÌíÓLöÖî−Ñk
[21] “Behold, there is a place with Me.” .éÄzÄà íB÷ÈîäÅpÄä [àë]
as it is said: “And the work was sufficient,” 36 ,óÖiÔðíÖ³Ð−ÖííÖ×êÖñÐnÔíÐîþÔôÍêÓpÓL
In the mountain, þÖíÖa
the ó−Ìê−ÌNÐò said, “what is left for us to do?” ?³BNμÔñ eò−ÑñÖ¼íÓô ,ó−Ìê−ÌNÐòeþÐôÖê
where I constantly speak with you, ,ð−ÌôÖzEÐn̼þÑaÔðÐô−ÌòÎêþÓLÎê
So “they brought the shoham-stones, etc.” .’îèî óÔíÒMÔí−ÑòÐëÔê³Ñê eê−ÌëÑí
I have a place prepared for your needs, EÐkÐþÖ®Ðñ−ÌñöÖ×eô óBšÖôLÑ−
It is for this reason CÖ×Ðñ
where I will conceal you so that you will not be hurt, ,šBf̳êHÓLóÖLEÐò−ÌôЬÔêÓL
that they contributed to the altar dedication first. ,íÖlÌìÐzÔìÑaÐïÌnÔí³ÔkeòÎìÔëeëÐcÔòгÌí
and from there you will see what you may see. ,íÓêÐþÌzÓMíÔôíÓêÐþ̳óÖMÌôe
And since, at first, they were somewhat lax, íÖlÌìÐzÌôeñÐvԼгÌpÓL−ÌõÐñe
That is the plain explanation. ;B¬eLÐõeíÓï
there is a letter missing, here, from their name ,óÖôÐMÌô ³Bê íÖþнÐìÓò
However, its midrashic explanation is that BLÖþÐðÌôe
and it is written óÌêÌÒ¾ÐpÔíÐî (without a ’− after the ’Ò¾). 37 :ë−̳ÐkóÌêÌNÐpÔíÐî
[“a place”] refers to the place where the Shechinah is ,þÑaÔðÐôóÖLíÖò−Ì×ÐMÔíÓL óBšÖôñÔ¼
