       Similarly, wherever a term [derived from] íÖñÐþÖ¼ [appears]  íÖñÐþÖ¼ öBLÐññÖköÑ×Ðî
 from your houses, from your servants E−£ÓðÖëμÞÑôe E− flÓz¤ÖaÌôe  I say that it means obstructed  ,óe¬Öê êeíÓLþÑôBê −ÌòÎê
 and from your people. E¢ÓnÔ¼ÞÑôe  [as in:] “Their ear is íÖñÑþμ,” 39  ZóÖòÐïÖêíÖñÑþμ

 8. Moshe and Aharon left Pharaoh, í¢Ò¼ÐþÔtó¤Ì¼ÑôöÒ£þÎíÞÔêÐîí§ÓLô ê'Ñ®ÑiÔî.ì
                  [meaning:] obstructed of understanding,  ,ö−ÌëÖíÑôó−Ìôe¬Îê

 it means: “I shall pray for you today  ,E−ÓñÖ¼ñÑlÔtгÓê óBiÔí−ÌòÎê¼ÖôÐLÔô  from intoxication caused by the cup of curse.  íÖñÖñÐwÔí ½Bk ³eþÐ×ÌMÌô
 that the frogs be destroyed  ó−̼ÐcÐþÔõЮÔíe³ÐþÖkÌ−ÓL  The foreskin of the flesh [is so called]  ZþÖNÖa³ÔñÐþÖ¼
 by whatever time you may set for me.  ;−ÔñÖ¼¼ÔaКÌzÓLöÖôÐfÔñ  because the member is obstructed and covered by it.  ,dÖëíÓqe×Ðôe óe¬Öêð−Ì bÔíÓL

 The words þ−ÌzмÔê (this verse), eþ−ÌzмÔí (v. 4)  ,eþ−ÌzмÓí ,þ−ÌzмÔê  an obstruction and cover—  ,−eqÌ×ÐîóÓ¬Bê
 and −ÌzÐþÔzмÔíÐî (v. 25) [are in the ñ−̼ÐõÌí form] 5  .−ÌzÐþÔzмÔíÐî  a prohibition that will prevent its being eaten.  ,B³Öñ−Ì×Îê−ÑòÐõÌañ−ÌcÐëÔiÓL þeq−Ìê
 and not: −ÌzÐþÔ³Ö¼Ðî ,eþг̼,þÔzмÓê [in the ñÔš form],  ,−ÌzÐþÔ³Ö¼Ðî ,eþг̼,þÔzмÓêþÔôÍêÓòêGÐî  “For three years they shall be ó−ÌñÑþμ to you” 43  ó−ÌñÑþμóÓ×ÖñíÓ−ÐíÌ−ó−ÌòÖLLñÖL
 because wherever a form of þÒ³Ö¼ appears  þÒ³Ö¼ öBLÐññÖkÓL−ÑòÐtÌô  [ó−ÌñÑþμ meaning:] obstructed and covered  íÓqe×Ðôe óe¬Öê
 it denotes a great deal of praying. 6  ,êeí ñÓñÓt ³BaÐþÔí  and barred from eating.  :BñÐ×ÖêÐlÌôñÖcÐëeôe
 And just as it says: −̳−ÑaÐþÌíÐî ,eaÐþÔí,íÓaÐþÔê  ,−̳−ÑaÐþÌíÐî ,eaÐþÔí,íÓaÐþÔêþÑôÖ êÑ−þÓLÎêÔ×Ðî  [13] Adonoy [then] spoke to Moshe and Aharon.  .ïÉøÂäÞÇà-ìÆàÀåäÆLî-ìÆà'äøÅaÇãÀéÇå [âé]
 terms denoting to cause to do, 7  ,ñ−̼ÐõÔô öBLÐñ  Since Moshe had said,  íÓLô þÔôÖêÓL−ÌõÐñ
 so, too, does it say −ÌzÐþÔzмÔíÐî ,eþ−ÌzмÔí ,þ−ÌzмÔê  −ÌzÐþÔzмÔíÐî eþ−ÌzмÔí ,þ−ÌzмÔêþÑôÖêÑ−CÖk  “And I have a speech defect,” (v. 12)  ,óÌ−Ô³ÖõÐNñÔþμ−ÌòÎêî

 The main proof of all this is [the verse:]  óÖlŠ×ÐñëÖêÐî  so that he would be his spokesman and interpreter.  :±−ÌñÑôÐñe íÓõÐñ Bñ ³B−ÐíÌñ
 “óÓzÐþÔzмÔíÐî your words about me,” 8  óÓ×−ÑþÐëÌc−ÔñÖ¼óÓzÐþÔzмÔíÐî  Commanding them regarding the B’nei Yisrael. 44  .ìÅàÈøÀNÄééÅðÀa-ìÆàíÅeÇöÀéÇå
 [óÓzÐþÔzмÔíÐî meaning] you have increased.  :óÓ³−ÑaÐþÌí  He commanded them regarding them (the B’nei Yisrael)  óÓí−ÑñμóÖeÌ®
 [6] He [Pharaoh] said by tomorrow. 9  .øÈçÈîÀìøÆîàÉiÇå [å]  to lead them with gentleness  ³ÔìÔòÐaóÖè−ÌíÐòÔíÐñ
