 until the fourteenth day of this month, í¢ÓfÔíLÓðÒ¤ìÔñóB£−þ§ÖNÖ¼í'Ö¼ÖaÐþÔêð¤Ô¼  causing a rash which will break out into boils ³Ò£¼ŠaмÔëÎêÔì§ÑþÒtö−'ÌìÐLÌñ
 they shall slaughter it— B †³Òêe¤¬ÎìÞÖLÐî  [affecting] the whole land of Egypt.” :óÌ−ÞÖþЮÌô±ÓþÓ'ê-ñÖ×Ða
 the entire community of Yisrael— ñ£ÑêÖþÐNÌ−-³Ôðμñ'ÔíКñÒ§k  10. They took the furnace soot ö †ÖLÐëÌkÔíÔì−̤t-³Óêe„ìКÌiÔî.−
 between evenings [in the afternoon]. :óÌ−ÞÖaÐþÔ¼ÞÖíö−'Ña  and stood before Pharaoh. íÒ fl¼ÐþÔõ−¤ÑòÐõÌñ ·eðÐôÔ¼ÞÔiÔî

 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA RASHI  é"ùø AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA  Moshe threw it heavenward, íÖôÐ−¢ÖôÖMÔíí£ÓLô B§³ÒêšÒ'þÐïÌiÔî
                                and it caused a rash ³Ò fl¼ŠaмÔëÎê ·ö−ÌìÐL−†ÌíÐ−Ô î
 from the pit which had no water” 39  .óÌ−ÔôBaö−Ñê þBaÌô
               which broke into boils in man and beast. :íÞÖôÑíÐaÔëe ó£ÖðÖêÞÖaÔì–ÑþÒt
 And because they (the B’nei Yisroel in Egypt)  e−ÖíÓL−ÌõÐñe
                     11. The sorcerers could not stand ðÒ§ôμÞÔñó− †ÌnŠ¬ÐþÔìÞÔíe¤ñÐ×ÞÖ−-êGÐî .ê−
 were immersed in idol worship,  ó−ÌëÖ×Bk ³ÔðBëμÔa ö−Ìõe¬ÐL
                   before Moshe as a result of the rash, ö−¢ÌìÐMÔí−¤ÑòÐtÌôí£ÓLô −'ÑòÐõÌñ
 He said to them,  ,óÓíÖñþÔôÖê
 “Draw and take [a lamb],” 40  ZóÓ×ÖñeìКe e×ÐLÌô  for the rash affected the sorcerers ó£ÌnŠ¬ÐþÔìÞÔaö− flÌìÐMÔíí¤Ö−Öí-−ÞÌk
 [meaning:] “withdraw your hands from idol worship  ,ó−ÌëÖ×Bk ³ÔðBëμÑôóÓ×−ÑðÐ−e×ÐLÌô  as well as all of Egypt. :óÌ−ÞÖþЮÌô-ñÖ×Ðëe
 and take unto yourselves a lamb to fulfill a mitzvah.” 41  :íÖîЮÌôñÓLöêÒ®óÓ×ÖñeìКe
       12. Adonoy caused Pharaoh’s heart to remain hard íÒ fl¼ÐþÔtë¤Ññ-³Óê ·íÒÖîíÐ−š¥ÑfÔìÐ−Ôî .ë−
 They shall slaughter it, etc.  .'åâå BúÉàeèÂçÞÈLÀå
 But did they all slaughter [the korbon Pesach]?! 42  ?ö−̬ÎìBL öÖle× −Ì×Ðî  AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA RASHI  é"ùø AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
 But [the answer is that] from here we derive  öêÖkÌôêÖlÓê
             [9] A rash which will break out into boils.  .úÉòËaÀòÇáÂàçÅøÉtïéÄçÀLÄì [è]
 [the rule] that “the agent of a person is as himself.” 43  :B³BôÐkóÖðÖêñÓL BìeñÐMÓL
                              As Onkelos translates it:  ,BôebÐþÔ³Ðk
 Community of Yisrael. 44  .ìÅàÈøÀNÄé-úÇãÂòìÇäÀ÷  ö−̼eaмÔëÔê−ÌbÔ½êÖòÎì−ÌLÐñ, (a rash producing boil)  ,ö−̼eaмÔëÎê−ÌbÔ½êÖòÎì−ÌLÐñ
 [It speaks here of three groups:] assembly, congregation  íÖðѼÐîñÖíÖš  [meaning] that through it (ö−ÌìÐL)  BðÖ−ñÔ¼ÓL
 and Yisrael.  .ñÑêÖþÐNÌ−Ðî  boils sprouted all over them.  :³B¼ea öÓíÖaö−ÌìÐôB®
 From here they (the Sages) derived that  ,eþÐôÖêöêÖkÌô  A rash.  .ïéÄçÀL
 the congregational Pesachim  þeaÌ ®−ÑìнÌt
                          ö−ÌìÐL has the meaning of heat. 6  ;³eô−ÌôÎì öBLÐñ
 are slaughtered in three groups, 45  ³BzÌkLñÖLÐaö−̬ÖìÐLÌò
            There are several instances of this in the Mishnah:  ,íÖòÐLÌô öBLÐñÌaLÑ−íÑaÐþÔíÐî
 one followed by the other—  ,Bï þÔìÔêBï

 once the first group had entered  íÖòBLêÌþ³ÔkíÖ½ÐòÐ×Ìò
                            [10] In man and beast.  .äÞÈîÅäÀaÇáe íÈãÈàÞÈa [é]
 the doors of the [Temple] courtyard were closed, etc.,  46  .’e×ÐîíÖþÖïμÖí ³B³ÐñÔðeñμÐòÌò
       Should you ask: from where did they have these animals,  ,³BôÑíÐaÔíóÓíÖñe−ÖíöÌ−ÔêÑôþÔôêÒzóÌêÐî

 is referred to as óÌ−ÔaÐþÔ¼Öíö−Ña  ,óÌ−ÔaÐþÔ¼Öíö−Ña −eþÖš
            on those [that remained] in the fields exclusively,  ,ðÔëÐñÌa ³BðÖOÔaÓLöÖ³Bê ñÔ¼
 because then the sun [begins] inclining  íÓ¬Bò LÓôÓMÔíÓL  as it is said: “at your livestock that are in the field,” 9  ,íÓðÖOÔaþÓLÎêEÐòКÌôÐaþÔôÍêÓpÓL

 As for the term óÌ−ÔaÐþÔ¼Öíö−Ña, it seems to me:  −Ôò−ѼÐëíÓêÐþÌòóÌ−ÔaÐþÔ¼Öíö−Ña öBLÐñe  made his livestock flee into the house.  .ó−ÌzÖaÔíñÓêeíÑòКÌô³Óê½−ÌòÑí
