                 It is for this reason that he [Avraham] died  ³ÑôCÖ×−ÌõÐñe

 34  Ber. Rab. 39, 7.  35  šÔzͼÓ−Ôî would mean “he moved,” referring to himself. šÑzмÔ−Ôî means “he removed” something
 else.  36  Literally translated it would be thus: ñê ³−aÐñóÓðÓšÌôíÖþÖíÖíóÖLÌôšÑzмÔ−Ôî—“He moved from there, from the East
 towards Beis Eil.” Rashi explains, however, that this is not so. (G.A.)  37 íGÏíÖê is read as if it were spelled Bñíê—his  290 I.e., the oppression and enslavement. However, the exile was experienced by Avraham. See Rashi v. 13.
